Mission
- Establish a comprehensive cybersecurity center for wind energy.
- Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in wind energy systems.
- Develop industry-wide best practices for robust defense strategies.
Our Approach
- Design and develop a comprehensive testbed replicating real-world wind farm environments.
- Identify potential vulnerabilities in wind turbine communication systems susceptible to eavesdropping attacks.
- Identify vulnerabilities linked to eavesdropping attacks on offshore wind turbines (WT)
- Emulate real-world WEF environments and integrate sensors and equipment to capture radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic (EM) signals.
Benefits
- Enhanced Security: Our research strengthens the resilience of wind energy infrastructure against cyber threats.
- Data-Driven Defense: We create datasets to guide future cybersecurity efforts in the wind energy sector.
- Industry Collaboration: We foster partnerships with industry leaders to translate research into real-world applications.
