Sandip Roy is currently working as a Post-doctoral Research Associate in Virginia Modeling, Analysis & Simulation Center, Old Dominion University, VA, USA. His key research areas are 5G security and performance techniques, Information Security, Authentication, Access Control Security in the Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud/fog/edge Computing, Blockchain, and Trustworthy AI/ML.
Sandip obtained a Ph.D. degree in Information Technology from Jadavpur University (JU), West Bengal, India in 2019. He has published over 15 research papers in international journals and conferences, that encompasses 10 Science Citation Index (SCI)/Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) journals including 7 top-rated IEEE Transactions/IEEE Journal/IEEE Magazine publications. Sandip has more than 15 years of teaching experience at the UG and PG level in various courses of Computer Science and Engineering.
Sandip is now currently focussing his research on 5G security and various performance techniques for civilian applications and multi-domain military operations. He has a good background in mathematics, analytical thinking, and programming skills. He possesses excellent written and communication skills and adapts quickly to work in an interdisciplinary team.
