Tan Le received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees from Ho Chi Minh University of Technology in 2002 and 2004, respectively, and Ph.D. degree from University of Quebec in 2016. From 2002 to 2010, he was a Lecturer with the Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and Education. He was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal in 2015-2016, Arizona State University in 2016-2017 and Utah State University in 2017-2020.

During his Ph.D. study, his research area included the Internet of Things (cyber-physical systems, big data, distributed sensing and control) and cognitive radios (protocol design, spectrum sensing, detection and estimation).

He currently focuses on AI, machine learning, cyber security, vehicular networks, 5G wireless communications, smart healthcare, edge/fog/cloud computing, software defined networking and network function virtualization.
